With a mintage of a 165,420 coins, the 1906 Liberty eagle has a relatively normal mintage figure for a Philadelphia gold eagle of the time. However few of this date have survived in high grade. The coin is easy to find in grades of MS63 and below. However, in choice the number of examples falls dramatically, and this date is extremely rare in the grades of gem and above.Mehr lesen
