Though the mintage of dimes in 1926 at the Denver Mint rose only slightly over that of the previous year, this issue is far more available across all grades. It appears that not all were released near the time of minting, because Mint State examples were plentiful within dealers' ads during the following decade. Most 1926-D dimes are reasonably well struck, though ones having Full Bands are often a bit weak in the legends. This is a phenomenon common to all USA coins of the period in that either centers or peripheries may be sharply struck, but only rarely are both strong.Leer más
