This issue has the fifth lowest mintage of the Mercury Dime series, and examples are very scarce in grades Fine and higher. Heavily worn pieces were recovered from circulation during the 1930s-50s and are not very difficult to locate. 1926-S dimes were made with much greater care than San Francisco dimes of the previous year, and well struck examples may be found from time to time. Mint State survivors are very scarce in any grade, and precious few of these are complete in the horizontal bands.Leer más
