ONE DIME
Introducción de monedas
This high mintage issue is fairly common across all grades through MS 66 and is a favorite choice for collectors seeking a nice dime of the Carson City Mint. The many die pairs are divided between those having the Type 1 Reverse (about one third) and the more common pieces having the Type 2 Reverse (photos). This issue is rich in minor repunched and misplaced date varieties, and even a minor doubled die reverse is known. The real standout, however, is an overdated obverse on which the numeral 6 is seen as a faintly raised impression on the face of the second 7. This die was paired with either one of two reverses, and its revelation as an overdate and not just another repunched date is fairly recent.Leer más
