After three years of frozen dates and back dated coins, normal production resumed for 1967, though mintmarks wouldn't be restored until the following year. Thus, many collectors don't realize that all 1967 nickels were coined at Denver, aside from the Special Mint Set coins struck at San Francisco.  This is yet another issue that is notable for poor details, though gems are not especially rare otherwise.
