1914-D quarter dollars are common across all grades through MS 64, though many Mint State coins are poorly struck, a common occurrence with these later dates. Gems are available in sufficient numbers to meet the demand from advanced collectors of the series. Doubled dies are rare on Barber Quarters, and 1914-D offers a particularly nice one. The doubling is most distinct on IN GOD WE TRUST, but it affects nearly all obverse design elements. Also known is a repunched mintmark variety, and this is evident by notches on both serifs of letter D.Leer más
