Arkansas’ Hot Springs National Parkis the first quarter in the America the Beautiful series. The reverse of the coin, released in April 2010, features an image of the park headquarters and a fountain. In 1832, before Arkansas was a state, federal protection was given to these natural thermal springs. Today, visitors to the 5,550-acre park in the city of Hot Springs can hike 26 miles of trails, visit the historic bathhouses, and even take home some of the water that makes the area famous.Leer más
