Introducción de monedas

The San Francisco Mint produced a generous quantity of half dollars during 1920, and worn examples of this issue are quite common. Collectors had long sought all S-Mint coins, and this led to a disproportionate survival rate for lower grade pieces. Only in grades VF and higher does the 1920-S half become scarce. Mint State coins are more available than for the rare 1920-D entry, but most are poorly struck. Gems of this date/mint are very scarce and may include coins that are not well struck or were made from eroded and clashed dies. A fully struck example from fresh dies is extremely rare.
