Introducción de monedas
The 1969-D half dollar is a near twin to the 1968-D edition in terms of availability. Certified gems are common through MS-65, with enough MS-66 examples to mostly meet the demand from advanced collectors. A sprinkling of PL coins exists to whet the appetites of series specialists. There are very few varieties known for such a large mintage requiring many dies. Doubled-die reverses predominate these, but all are rather minor. As with the 1968-D half dollar, this year's obverse master die features a final numeral that is cut more deeply into it than the numerals 196. It is a bit less noticeable, however, than on the 1968-D halves.Leer más
