The relatively low mintage of this date for a Philadelphia product has long been attractive to collectors, but the 1905(P) half dollar is somewhat more available than this figure suggests. It is only moderately scarce in Mint State and the higher circulated grades. As is so true for the series, however, gems are still quite elusive.
