This issue resulted in the lowest mintage of dimes from the New Orleans Mint since 1897 and is scarce in grades Fine and higher. Mint State pieces are rare in relation to most 20th Century dimes, and gems are very rare. Most 1908-O dimes are a bit weakly struck, as in the example illustrated, which has a shallow date and a "bald" spot where the wreath ends meet.En savoir plus
