The enormous (for its time) mintage of this issue has made it common in all but the highest grades. Collectors may be selective and should avoid the typical example that is weakly struck at Liberty's head and the bow knot. Several misplaced and repunched date varieties are known, sometimes in combination. Also desirable are the two different doubled-die reverses.
