A single obverse die was overdated 1827/6, and this proved sufficiently durable to be paired with three different reverse dies. Over this progression, the obverse became quite worn and distorted, though traces of the overdate feature remained. The most common overdate marriages are O-101 and O-102, while O-103 is only moderately scarce.
