Without the novelty of three varieties of cents that had boosted proof sales in 1909, this year marked a return to the dismal pattern of proof mintages declining annually. 1910 proof quarter dollars are scarcer than most preceding dates, but they tend to be of higher quality than most issues 1902-08.
