Introduction des pièces de monnaie
A high mintage for the period and a reasonably high survival rate has made the 1902 Philadelphia Mint half dollar among the more common entries for the Barber series. It is readily available in all circulated grades and through MS-64. Gems are a bit elusive, but some truly exceptional pieces have been certified. 1902(P) halves display excellent luster and good, if not quite full, strikes. A touch of weakness on the highest points of the design is not unusual. A doubled-die obverse variety exists for this issue. Doubling is seen on the ends of Liberty's hair ribbon and the nearby stars.En savoir plus
