This issue recorded the lowest mintage of all Barber Half Dollars. Had this occurred earlier in the series the result would almost certainly be a very rare coin. By the mid 1930s, however, collectors were saving pieces from circulation, and many coins of this date/mint were still available, though quite worn by then. Low grade pieces are thus only moderately scarce, while coins grading F through XF are genuinely difficult to locate. AU and MS survivors are more often seen, and a fair number of gems are available to the advanced collector.En savoir plus
