Introduction des pièces de monnaie
A generous mintage has made this a common issue in all grades through MS-64. Well made as a rule, there are more than the usual number of gem survivors. A new obverse master hub was created, and this has the word LIBERTY a bit more deeply incised. This improved its durability, even as the rest of the coin wore, and grading circulated 1909-15 half dollars is affected slightly. Beginning with this year the date was applied to the obverse master die and thus does not vary in style or position within any given year. Eliminated were all date-punching varieties, too.En savoir plus
