This issue is yet another instance in which a large mintage did not guarantee a supply of gem coins. Most 1926-D cents were poorly struck from eroded dies displaying blurry and distorted peripheral features. The example illustrated reveasls some of these problems, yet it is superior to most Mint State survivors. Nice coins are somewhat scarce in the higher circulated grades, too.En savoir plus
