硬幣介紹
Production of dimes at the San Francisco Mint declined only a bit from 1943, and this issue remains one of the most common in the series. Coins graded as having Full Bands make up a disproportionately large percentage of the certified population. In reality, these are fairly scarce overall. Only the sheer numbers of coins preserved at the time has made it possible to easily obtain such pieces. Two styles of mintmarks were employed for 1944-S dimes. Most coins seen have the Large S typical of 1943-S dimes, and those bearing the Knob-Tail S are somewhat scarce. A single RPM (Large S) is known, but this is too minor to generate much interest.閱讀更多
