Sales of all USA proof coins rose in 1900, as both collectors and the general public sought souvenirs of this significant date. Those sold to non-numismatists, however, suffered from mishandling and may even have been spent sometime later. 1900 proof dimes are slightly scarce, certainly more so than their mintage suggests. The degree of contrast between fields and devices continued the slide that began in 1899, and Cameo examples are more elusive. As always with this coin type, Ultra Cameo proofs are quite rare.閱讀更多
