Proofs of this date are rather scarce. The exact number sold will likely never be known, and all published figures are estimates based on the number of silver proof sets known to have been sold after this coin was authorized. These silver sets included all minor coins, as well. It seems that all 1865 proofs are from an obverse die having at least three complete punchings, though little of this is visible on the two central numerals.閱讀更多
