1842 Philadelphia Mint half dimes are available in all grades through MS 64, but gems are scarce. Most are reasonably well struck, but die erosion is often evident in the denticles. This seems to affect the reverse in particular, most likely because reverse dies could be used in more than one year until they failed altogether.閱讀更多
