硬幣介紹
The 1915 Philadelphia Mint half dollar is the third and final entry in a run of coins having very low mintages for both the currency and proof editions. For generations the proofs were worth more than the currency coins, but these roles began to reverse in the 1980s-90s, largely when certified grading revealed their relative rarities. The 1915 half dollar was the final entry in this series, and it appears that the proofs were not made with as much care as for earlier dates. Despite a low production of just 450 pieces this date is not especially rare in overall numbers. Gems, however, are very elusive, with Cameo examples being extremely rare.閱讀更多
