The Flowing Hair Half Dollar was minted in 1794 and 1795 and is one of the very first half dollars issued by the U.S. The design features Liberty with flowing hair on the obverse, and an eagle on the reverse. As an extremely rare and significant early issue, the Flowing Hair Half Dollar is highly prized among collectors.
