Introduction of Coins
Typically, 1951-D dimes are better struck than their east coast and west coast cousins, but they also seem to have suffered more from contact marks. Thus, gems are not as plentiful as the overall number of Mint State coins would suggest. FT examples, however, comprise a higher percentage than for 1951 dimes of the other mints. Two RPMs are known for 1951-D dimes, both of them clear enough to be desirable.Read More
