Introduction of Coins
1951-S dimes are plentiful in Mint State from the many rolls saved at the time of issue, but this entry suffers mightily from very poor quality control. Most survivors are poorly struck from heavily worn dies. Gems are certainly not in short supply, but collectors should cherrypick the better strikes from among the many certified examples. Full Torch specimens are scarce. Several RPMs are known, but only one of them is distinctive enough to attract interest beyond specialists.Read More
