Introduction of Coins
This issue enjoyed a large mintage and was released at a time when the saving of fresh rolls was widespread among collectors and speculators. Thus, examples are common across all grades through MS 67 FB. Well struck pieces are more available for 1944-D dimes than for those of the two other mints. A very minor DDO variety has attracted little interest. There are several RPMs for 1944-D dimes, and two of theses are prominent enough to be popular and highly sought.Read More
