Introduction of Coins
1937-S dimes were preserved by the dozens of rolls at or near their time of issue, so Mint State survivors are plentiful. Only a small percentage of these, however, possess Full Bands, and this deficiency is typical of all San Francisco dimes through the end of the Mercury series. A minor doubled-die variety is known for this issue, but its inclusion in The Cherrypickers' Guide has given it some prominence.Read More
