Introduction of Coins
This year saw the first substantial mintage of dimes at San Francisco since 1900, and examples are fairly plentiful through the lower Mint State grades. Only gems are scarce for this issue. 1905-S dimes typically have good strikes and excellent luster that may be prooflike. Though not well known, there is a promising repunched date variety, as well as a repunched mintmark. It remains to be seen whether these will garner much collector attention.Read More
