Introduction of Coins
This issue is fairly plentiful through the lower grades of Mint State, yet it is very rare to find an example having a full strike or anything close. Most are poorly struck, even when compared to other O-Mint dimes. The coin illustrated reveals several weak spots typical of this issue. Several repunched date varieties are noted for 1907-O dimes, all of them quite minor. Far more interesting is a very obvious repunched mintmark, and this variety is highly sought by both Barber Dime collectors and variety specialists.Read More
