Introduction of Coins

With the war's end, production of quarter dollars at the Denver Mint fell below 10 million pieces for the first time since 1940. This is still a common issue that is readily available through MS 66, with a generous number of MS 67 specimens, too. Minor doubled-die varieties are known, mostly for the obverse.
