Jeff Garrett:The most notable aspect of this date is the extremely poor quality of manufacture. Every coin seen is weakly struck, making grading a difficult task. The feather details on the reverse are always weak and appear worn. The Harry W. Bass Jr. and Eliasberg coins are probably the finest survivors known.
