Five of the obverse dies for 1819 were overdated 1819/8, and these were paired with five reverses for a total of six overdate die marriages. The difference between the so-called Small 9 and Large 9 is so slight as to be indistinguishable without photos or a side-by-side comparison, and they are priced at similar levels for the more common varieties.
