Introduction of Coins
Like all overdate varieties of the 20th Century, this one resulted from the sinking of a working die using working hubs of two different dates. Since such coins are also doubled-dies, there are other features of the obverse revealing doubled images. Only a single working die was so affected, and this variety is thus quite rare in Mint State.
