This is one of the rarest dates in the Seated Liberty Quarter series. There is no official record of its mintage, but Walter Breen believed that it was included in the first 1850 delivery of 16,000 pieces. Examples are rare across all grades, and Mint State pieces are extremely rare. The Census data below likely includes some duplication through resubmission of the same coins.
