Introduction of Coins
Production of quarter dollars rebounded at the San Francisco Mint after the shockingly low number for 1901, and this issue is only moderately scarce in the lower grades. As with all Barber Quarters before about 1906, problem-free examples grading F through AU are challenging to find. Mint State survivors are in limited supply, but they're not truly rare. No varieties have been reported, but David Lawrence identified four reverse dies by slightly differences in mintmark position.Read More
