This issue is neither rare nor common. Examples are plentiful in the lower circulated grades, while coins grading Fine through About Uncirculated are scarce. Mint State pieces are moderately scarce, with gems being fairly rare. There are no collectable varieties for 1899-O, but David Lawrence identified five reverse dies by slight variations in mintmark position.Read More
