A modest mintage has left this entry moderately scarce across all grades. The Mint State population is lower than for most other entries this late in the series, and gems are elusive. Weakness of striking at Liberty's forehead, the arrow feathers and the adjacent claw are the norm. No true varieties are known for 1910-D, but David Lawrence observed three minor positional varieties for the mintmark.Read More
