Introduction of Coins
On the eve of the Great Depression the San Francisco Mint produced nearly two million half dollars. This issue is quite common in all circulated grades, and even Mint State coins are plentiful in comparison to the other S-Mint halves of the 1920s. Though there are no true varieties for 1929-S, examples may be found on which the monogram AW has been polished off the die.Read More
