Introduction of Coins
For the third year in a row the San Francisco Mint fell a bit short of the four million mark, reflecting a fairly constant demand for half dollars. Gems are readily available for this issue, but their quality of strike varies considerably. The same may be said for luster, but nice coins may be found with a bit of diligent searching. There are no varieties for 1936-S beyond the master die doubling that is present on all 1936 halves.Read More
