The first full year of Seated Liberty Half Dollar production resulted in a fairly common issue from the Philadelphia Mint that is nevertheless scarce in Mint State. As with many coins of this type, weakness of strike is often evident at Liberty's head and breast and on the opposite location of the eagle's right (viewer's left) leg.
