Introduction of Coins
First struck in 1986, the Gold Eagle coin program is one of the world's most popular gold coin programs. The coins are available in 1/10oz, 1/4oz, 1/2oz, and 1oz sizes, with face values of $5, $10, $25, and $50, respectively. Mintage again decreased from 2001 to 2002, but this time only by about 9,000 pieces. Quality was relatively good again, with about 9% garnering the grade of 70. (6/2016)Read More
