Introduction of Coins
First struck in 1986, the Gold Eagle coin program is one of the world's most popular gold coin programs. The coins are available in 1/10oz, 1/4oz, 1/2oz, and 1oz sizes, with face values of $5, $10, $25, and $50, respectively. In 2011, the mintage of $25 gold eagles decreased once again, this time by 11,000 coins. Quality was actually better than ever however, as 57% graded MS70. (6/2016)Read More
