If one disregards the 1894-S, which was not coined for circulation, then 1895-O is clearly the key date for this popular series. It's low mintage was a consequence of severe economic depression in the years 1894-96, and examples are highly sought in any grade. Most 1895-O dimes are fairly well struck, but few are known in grades high enough for this to be evident. Mint State survivors are rare, and gems are extremely so.阅读更多
