The Philadelphia Mint struck 51,420 $20 gold double eagles in 1880. This date clearly circulated, as most examples are found in the upper end of AU. In mint state, this issue becomes very rare, especially in MS62 or higher. The proof versions of this date are even scarcer however, with only 36 pieces struck with only 10-15 believed to still exist.阅读更多
