硬币介绍
The 1910-S half dollar is relatively common in all grades below AU. Mint State coins are in very limited supply and are actually more scarce than the low-mintage 1910(P) issue. Most such pieces are quite nice, though usually falling short of the gem (MS-65) level. David Lawrence observed that 1910-S halves sometimes display "mumps," a sinking of the obverse die that resulted in shallow, raised areas. Two different mintmark punches may be found for this entry, but they are so similar as to attract little interest from collectors. A repunched mintmark is illustrated in Kevin Flynn's book, but the photo is not very convincing.阅读更多
