Despite a sizable jump in sales from 1940's mintage, this date is not any more common in high grades. In addition, cameo pieces are extremely elusive, the example shown having about as much contrast as one could find with this date. Overpolished dies are common for 1941 proofs, as the Mint struggled to keep up with the rising demand by sending slightly worn dies back to be resurfaced.阅读更多
